New Fiat 500 by Gucci
Leading fashion house Gucci has teamed up with another iconic Italian brand, Fiat, to create the new Fiat 500 by Gucci. This stylish new car was unveiled at Milan Fashion Week on February 23rd 2011 and will be available to purchase in the UK this Summer.
Fiat designers worked with Creative Director for Gucci, Frida Giannini to produce the 1.4 litre limited edition model.
The new Fiat 500 by Gucci marks Gucci’s 90th anniversary and has been created to showcase the true Italian style of both brands. The limited edition Gucci Fiat 500 car was presented to the motoring press at the Geneva Motor Show on 1st March.
Frida Gianinni of Gucci states that: “when the Fiat 500 first hit the road in the fifties it created a style revolution. Gucci’s history has always been about traveling in style so when this collaboration came along, it struck me as the perfect opportunity to design a new modern travel statement.”
Available in white or glossy black, the new Fiat 500 by Gucci is embellished with Gucci statements inside and out. Featuring a Guccissima print and Gucci’s signature green-red-green stripes on the body, this new Fiat also features two toned Frau Leather seats to compliment the stylish interior design.
Distinctive interlocking GG badges appear on the hubcaps and the Gucci signature is also featured on the hatchback. A range of Gucci accessories have been produced to compliment this limited edition vehicle. These include driving accessories, sunglasses and leather goods.
The new Fiat 500 by Gucci will be showcased across the fashion capitals of the world: Milan, London, Paris and Tokyo. The distinctive Gucci Fiat 500 is set to become something of a collector’s item with long lasting appeal.
