Salary: OTE £30,000 - £36,000 per annum + Company Demonstrator Car

Lipscomb Cars is a privately owned motor business with dealerships in Ashford, Canterbury and Maidstone and have built an enviable reputation for customer service operating the Volvo Cars franchise and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles that includes Fiat, Abarth, Alfa Romeo and Jeep vehicles with an annual turnover close to £50 million.

The Group are now looking to develop further their offering to the Business and Corporate sector with exciting new products being launched from their manufacturer partners focusing on the Kent local business community employing a Group Business Sales Specialist actively prospecting for business and presenting offers available. This activity will be supported by the Lipscomb dealerships working with the Specialist to tailor quotes and follow up on lead generation through the brand managers and their team.

Reporting directly to the Group Marketing Manager the role of the Business Sales Specialist will be to generate prospects for the group business sales, develop on line and contract hire offerings across the brands and maintain a regular contact and follow up strategy with a ‘Top 50’ account development plan which will be reviewed regularly with agreed targets for sales volumes.

The successful applicant will currently have proven their ability in a sales environment in either business to business (B2B) sales of a high value or territory development and have the ability to manage their daily routine focused on building a database of activity within the Kent area developing the awareness to the Lipscomb brand offerings. Duties will include:


  • Daily planning of activity and reporting on planned activities
  • Office and field based prospecting activity
  • Working closely with the Brand Sales Managers to achieve monthly personal and team targets
  • Presentation of business and offerings to decision makers
  • Developing promotions and offerings to the business community
Skills and experience required:



Essential

  • Business to Business (B2B) sales or field based territory sales management
  • Well presented and confident when dealing with the public, strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • IT literate & friendly – Fully proficient using Microsoft packages and presenting from Computer technology
  • Ability to plan and coordinate activity and work to set guidelines and targets
