Tuning Kits at Lipscomb Abarth
There are two tuning kits for the Grande Punto Abarth 1.4 T-Jet 155bhp available at Lipscomb.
The ‘Assetto’ kit improves the brakes and suspension, whilst the ‘Esseesse’ kit, which includes the ‘Assetto’ kit, also significantly increases the engine’s power output.
The ‘Assetto’ kit includes cross-drilled brake discs at the front and rear, high performance front brake pads, special lower springs and 18” alloy wheels fitted with 215/40 ZR18 Pirelli Pzero tyres.
The ‘esseesse’ kit adds numerous components including a special air filter, a Garrett turbo, new injectors, twin chrome-plated exhaust tailpipes, and a reflash of the engine control unit with ‘esseesse’ software. All this boosts engine performance from 155 bhp to 180 bhp. Visually the ‘esseesse’ kit adds ‘esseesse’ logos on the tailgate, wing mirror covers and an engine cover.
With the “esseesse” kit, the 180bhp Grande Punto Abarth “esseesse” can achieve a maximum speed of 215 km/h, and accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 7.7 seconds.

The 'Esseesse" kit at Lipscomb is priced from just £3,995 for the Grande Punto Abarth and £2,500 for the 500 Abarth fitted. Price includes VAT, subject to car being supplied by Lipscomb Abarth.
