Gareth Howell & Lipscomb onto a Winner - Round 1 / Race 2 / Oulton Park
The second race of the Trofeo Abarth 500 GB at Oulton Park was run on Monday 5th April, with Gareth Howell still on fire!
Benny Simonsen started on pole position after setting the fastest lap in the race on Saturday, with Gareth Howell starting in 3rd.
Once again, the race was packed full of excitement. Gareth Howell and Benny Simonsen raced hard for the whole race, with Gareth taking first place and then dropping back to second, but chasing hot on Simonsen's heals until the last two laps when Gareth eventually came out on top to win yet another race in the series with a gap of 4.724 seconds.
