Beneath the elegant flow of the Bravo's bodywork, you'll find one of its powerful range of engines.  There are two petrol and three diesel versions to choose from.  the petrol engine range includes a frugal 1.4 16v 90bhp unit as well a more potent turbocharged 1.4 16v T-Jet developing 120bhp.  Both engines are mated to slick shifting six-speed manual gearboxes.  The diesel range consists of a 105bhp 1.6 16v MultiJet unit, specifically tuned with longer gear rations in its six speed manual gearbox for increased refinement, economy and even lower CO2 emissions.  A more powerful 120 bhp 1.6 16v MultiJet engine is also available, combined with Fiat's renowned robotised six-speed Dualogic gearbox, offering seamless automatic gear changes and manual gearbox functionality.  Finally, a high performance 2 litre MultiJet engine developing 165 bhp completes the range. 

The Fiat Bravo appeals to the head and the heart, inside and out.  Only compromise is missing.
