A Polestar service includes inspections of the battery and electrical systems, the brakes, the thermal and cooling systems and the suspension and steering. Fluids and filters are also checked and replaced if necessary, while sensors and cameras are cleaned and software is updated.

The service interval for your specific Polestar can be found in the Status and Warranty booklet, but as a guide, it should be serviced every two years or 18,500 miles, whichever comes first. A notification will be displayed on the dashboard when a service is due.

Polestar servicing is carried out by manufacturer-trained technicians at authorised Volvo Service Centres such as Lipscomb. Our technicians have been fully certified and only use genuine parts to make repairs and replacements.
Your Polestar MOT will take around 45-60 minutes, provided no immediate additional work is required. If the vehicle fails, we will contact you with details and a quote before fixing the relevant part and retesting.
You can enter your registration into the government website tool to check your MOT expiration date. Alternatively, contact Lipscomb’s Volvo Service Centre, which deals with Polestar aftersales care, to find out when your next MOT is due.
The government has capped MOT test costs at a maximum of £54.85. However, you may be able to enjoy a discount depending on our available offers, so speak to the team at Lipscomb for a quote.
