Visitors to the 2016 Geneva Motor Show experienced a first-glimpse at the all-new, Fiat Tipo model range.
The latest addition to the Fiat family is pleasingly spacious, with ample legroom and headroom even for tall adults. This key feature is brilliantly combined with an elegant design, high specification and fully-adjustable cabin components.
The Tipo has an impressive boot capacity for its class, with a total
volume of 440 litres in the hatchback model, and a further 110 litres in
the estate. Adding to the Tipo’s outstanding storage space are several
cabin compartments, while an on-board USB port allows electrical devices
to be charged and used while on the go.
Exploring the model range in more detail, we can confirm that both the hatchback and estate versions will be available in three trim levels, all of which will benefit from remote central locking, air conditioning, electric mirrors, DAB digital radio, Bluetooth connectivity, steering wheel remote controls and six airbags.
There will be a total of five engines to choose from, including two turbocharged diesel powertrains. The 1.3-litre and 1.6-litre MultiJet II units will be joined by the standard 1.4-litre petrol engine, a 1.4-litre turbo unit and a 1.6-litre e-TorQ.
The Tipo will be available from September 2016 at Lipscomb Fiat dealerships in Canterbury and Maidstone. Return to our news pages to keep up-to-date with any announcements relating to the Fiat Tipo and its availability.
