Design
The Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe is at the cutting edge of SUV design. The marque’s iconic seven-slot radiator grille design remains intact, but features aesthetic enhancements that bring it right up to date. And with slender headlights, its attitude is more purposeful than ever. Of course, there’s no compromise on function: this is a vehicle that’s as practical as it is handsome, with a raised ride height providing clear visibility for the driver and a four-door body making passenger access easy. Performance
The Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe may be cleaner, but it’s just as capable thanks to its four-wheel drivetrain. It’s powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine and a 17.3kWh battery, the latter driving two electric motors. And you can charge the battery wherever you are: at home, at work or by utilising one of more than 42,000 public access points located around the UK. Once the battery’s fully charged, the Grand Cherokee 4xe is capable of up to 30-miles in all-electric.
Technology and safety
Not only does this exciting SUV feature a 10-inch customisable digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen, it also features a 10.25-inch co-passenger screen. Audio entertainment is provided by a premium McIntosh sound system, which delivers 950 watts of power via 19 loudspeakers and a 10-inch subwoofer. The Grand Cherokee 4xe also comes with a panoply of passive and active safety features, including Night Vision, which makes it easy to spot pedestrians, and even animals in the dark.
