Jeep Motability

When the Motability scheme was introduced in the 1970s, it gave disabled motorists more scope than ever before to enjoy the independence offered by access to a motor vehicle. Under the terms of the scheme, customers can use part or all of certain disability allowances to pay the monthly cost of a three-year lease, which includes a number of additional advantages regarding maintenance, adaptations and other named drivers.

Vehicles leased under the Motability programme include Vehicle Excise Duty, insurance, breakdown assistance and maintenance cover for a variety of items. Many special adaptations can be made free of charge, although some more complex adjustments may require an additional payment (in the same way as more highly-specified models may need a one-off advance payment in addition to the lease repayments).

If you receive either the Higher Rate Mobility component of the Disability Living Allowance or the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement then you could qualify for a Motability package with Lipscomb Jeep. This includes:

• A brand new car every three years
• Insurance, servicing and maintenance
• Full breakdown assistance
• Annual tax disc
• Windscreen repair or replacement
• 60,000 mileage allowance over three years for cars
• Many adaptations at no extra cost
