Aftersales Team – Bodyshop Driver

Lipscomb Cars Maidstone is located at Aylesford just off the M20 Junction 6 and operates a busy Bodyshop department. Due to expansion, we are now recruiting for a Bodyshop collections driver to work within our small team.

The predominant role will be the arrangement and collection/delivery of customer’s cars in the Kent area for body repair, working closely with the Bodyshop team. This will include arrangements for work and following set routines to ensure all requirements are met.

Light cleaning duties may be required at peak times as part of our team objective of excellent customer service.

Reporting to the Aftersales Director & or Bodyshop Consultants duties will include:

• Arranging efficient collection and delivery of vehicles for our Bodyshop Operation.
• Delivering & Collecting customers from pick up points.
• Inspection of vehicles and recording any damage at collection.
• Transfer of vehicles between Lipscomb locations and Bodyshop.
• Presenting vehicles and explanation of paperwork on delivery.

Skills and experience required:

• UK Driving license essential and aged over 25 (Insurance pre-requisite)
• Good inter personal skills and Customer facing experience
• Commitment to providing the highest levels of customer care in dealership and at all touch points
• Reliable and flexible able to work to set guidelines and take initiative
• Smart appearance and articulate is essential, Dealership branded clothing will be supplied
• Must be a team player, ability to handle pressure, be flexible as overtime may become available
