Lipscomb Maidstone is a franchised Volvo car main dealership operating from their Aylesford location with easy access from J6 M20 near Maidstone. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic professional to join our team on a temporary basis to cover a maternity leave.

We have a busy sales operation and require a Sales Administrator to join our team working with admin functions in support of the sales department and its internal accounting functions. This includes invoicing and stock control and working closely as a link between accounts and the sales teams. The Sales Administrator is a vital link in the hub of our sales operation working to strict deadlines.

The role will require accurate keyboard skills, good numeracy and attention to detail together with an ability to work as part of a busy team with target objectives to deliver the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Duties will include:

  • Receipt of vehicles into stock, preparation of work requests and monitoring progress
  • Arranging vehicle documentation, licensing, warranty and verification checks
  • Coordinating paperwork for the purchase/sale of new/used vehicles
  • Maintaining of stock and production of reports and stock lists as required
  • Processing invoices on sale and reconciling within Pinewood Pinnacle management system
  • Maintaining vehicle orders in line with company guidelines supported by Sales Manager

Skills and experience required:

Essential:

  • Excellent telephone manner and all round internal and external communication skills
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft packages including Word/Excel and Outlook
  • Accurately update CRM record data following set processes
  • Good numeracy and keyboard skills
  • Must be a team player, ability to handle pressure and work to set guidelines
  • Commitment to providing the highest levels of customer care in dealership and all touch poinnt
Desirable:


  • Knowledge of motor trade with knowledge of Pinewood Pinnacle DMS
  • Previous experience as a Sales Administrator preferred
