Volvo Sales Manager – Canterbury Dealership

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join and lead the Sales team within a well-established, family-owned dealership group at our Canterbury site. With a strong reputation for customer service and performance, we are looking for a driven, results-focused Sales Manager to build on our success and take the business to the next level.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Sales Controller or experienced Sales Manager seeking a fresh challenge within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

We are seeking a high-performing Sales Manager to take ownership of the Sales operation, driving volume, profitability, and an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Performance & Growth: Drive new and used vehicle sales, maximise profitability, and consistently exceed targets.
  • Sales Funnel Management: Take full ownership of the sales funnel, ensuring effective lead management, conversion optimisation, and consistent follow-up at every stage of the customer journey.
  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Implement and drive the use of the in-house prospecting system to generate new business opportunities, increase customer engagement, and build a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team, creating a culture of accountability, activity, and results.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure an outstanding end-to-end customer journey, maintaining high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Commercial Focus: Manage stock, pricing, and marketing activity to optimise sales opportunities and margins.
  • Operational Excellence: Work closely with senior management to maintain high standards, processes, and compliance across the sales function.

Working Hours Full Time 8.30am-5.30pm Mon-Sat (Plus Weekly Lieu Day - 5 Day Working Week)
